Is DormSwap affiliated with my university?
No. Campus tags are plain labels so students can find local listings. There are no partnerships — DormSwap is an independent project by Indie Marketing Arsenal.
How much does it cost to list?
Nothing. Listings are free. The only paid option is a $5 featured pin (7 days, top of the campus feed), applied manually within 24h of payment.
Why isn't my listing live yet?
Every listing is reviewed by a human before it goes live — that takes up to 24 hours. If it still isn't up after 24h, email us.
Can buyers see my email?
Never. Contact emails are kept private; buyers message us and we relay manually within 24h.
How do featured listings work?
Pay $5 through the checkout link on the pricing page, then email us your listing title. We pin it to the top of your campus feed for 7 days, manually, within 24 hours of payment.
Are there fees on my sale?
No. Payment happens between you and the buyer, in person. DormSwap takes no cut.
